At SUITE702, we believe the world could use some 'Bed Peace'. We create products that have a meaningful impact on your daily life and that you can enjoy for years to come. We do this as responsibly as possible, without making it complicated.
Sustainability and good working conditions should be a given, but unfortunately, they are not (yet). To ensure that our products are "clean" and ethically produced, we work with various internationally recognized certifications.
Our quality marks
For SUITE702, it is essential that our bed and bath linen meet the strictest sustainability criteria. We therefore collaborate with manufacturers certified to the highest standards in the textile industry.
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)
A large part of our collection, including our organic cotton-satin and percale bedding, is GOTS certified (CU 1010023). GOTS is the world's leading certification for organic textile products. It sets strict requirements for environmental aspects and social conditions throughout the entire supply chain. SUITE702 itself is also GOTS-certified as a brand, which means that our own processes in Amsterdam are annually audited and meet the strictest requirements.
European Flax™ & OEKO-TEX®
For our washed linen bedding collection, we use other strict standards:
- European Flax™: this certificate is the gold standard for linen. It guarantees full traceability of premium flax fibers grown sustainably in Western Europe. The cultivation is GMO-free, takes place without artificial irrigation and with minimal use of fertilizers and pesticides. This naturally makes linen one of the most environmentally friendly materials in the world.
- OEKO-TEX®: All our linen products carry the OEKO-TEX® certificate. This is your guarantee that the final product has been extensively tested and is completely free of harmful substances. Safe for you and soft on your skin.
DownPass
DownPass is the certification for down and feathers with the strictest criteria in terms of animal welfare. Strict attention is paid to good housing, nutrition, and the absence of live plucking or force-feeding. The feathers and down are a residual product of the food industry.
NOMITE
Our down duvets and pillows with the NOMITE label are suitable for people with a dust mite allergy or asthmatic conditions, thanks to their very tightly woven casing.
