About us

We believe the world could use a little more optimism. It's not rocket science. It starts with getting out of bed on the right side.

Waking up refreshed. Bedding that entices you to go to bed on time. Beautiful colors and soft towels. If everyone got out of bed in a better mood more often (starting the day right), the world would look a lot nicer.

In 2018, Amsterdam couple Shirley Muijrers (textile designer) and Olaf Arkauer (branding) joined forces. Their mission with SUITE702? In a busy, always-on world, to inspire you to log off more often, recharge, and live life to the fullest.

About the name

SUITE702. Room 702. The Amsterdam Hilton, March 1969. John Lennon and Yoko Ono checked in and refused to leave. Not in protest against the hotel, but in protest against the world. For seven days, they stayed in bed and invited the world's press to talk. About peace. About slowing down. And about using the place where we rest as a stage for something greater.

About the collection

Making deceleration irresistible: that's why we design. With luxurious bed and bath linen that doesn't shout, but simply feels truly good. From crisp, fresh percale to wonderfully soft sateen. At SUITE702, everything starts with the quality of the material; the tactile experience. Luxury that makes you want to go to bed earlier and get out later.


But what truly sets SUITE702 apart is, of course, color. Lots and lots of color. No safe, cautious choices from the grey middle, but a fantastic and inspiring curated palette. Because choosing color is a form of freedom. Mix & Match and Dream in full color.

That's why, wherever possible, we work with the strictest certifications, such as GOTS cotton (the gold standard for organic and socially responsible textiles) and certified European Flax™ linen.
