What is the difference between duck down and goose down?

Goose down has larger feathers than duck down. This makes goose down lighter, but has more volume. This means that you can reach the desired warmth class faster with less weight.

• Goose down – Lighter, but with more volume and better insulation. Ideal if you like a light duvet.
  
• Duck down – Slightly heavier, making the duvet feel fuller. Perfect if you like a firmer duvet.
